Optimizes plans for machines that are capable of either variable or constant dose rate rotational delivery. Utilizing machine parameters (such as, gantry speed, collimator speed, and leaf movement), single or multiple arc plans are produced to reduce treatment delivery time and/or improve the quality of care.
IMRT Module
Powered by Prowess’ CCCS dose calculation engine and patented Direct Aperture Optimization (DAO) algorithm; all delivery constraints are utilized within the optimization process, creating an interactive planning system that produces quality plans with minimal monitor units and segments.
3DCRT Module
Planning for photon, electron and Co-60 beams with multiple dose calculation algorithms. Plan templates are available to reduce the time needed to setup repetitive beam arrangements and beams can be shaped using various MLC fit options, block, wedges, and bolus.
Brachy Module
Real-time forward and inverse prostate planning with integrated ultrasound video support facilitates live monitoring and capturing of patient anatomy for ideal seed placement. StereoSeed enables flexible multi-directional needle insertion, allowing seed implants to avoid bone and critical structures, therefore broadening the array of possible LDR treatment sites.
