New Modern UI
The Prowess Panther TPS now supports multiple displays and Floating Windows which allows the user to have multiple views on separate monitors. Additionally, Prowess Panther has incorporated a Tree Structure that allows the user to quickly and easily view and select Patient Models, turn volumes on and off on and quickly and easily enable and disable the different display options.
Uses the slider in the middle of the images to compare the Old UI with the New UI.
Patient navigation has been made much faster a new side panel where users can quickly switch models and plans. In addition.. .
Optimization Enhancements
Improvements have been made throughout the optimization process for VMAT & IMRT which have improved the optimization time as well as supporting multiple rounds of rotation and support for direct optimization for target conformality without the need for ring structures.

Dose Calculation Enhancements
The dose calculation speed has been greatly improved by adding support for GPU based CCCS dose and Beamlet dose calculation. We have also added support for a third party .dll interface for Monte Carlo dose calculation engine.
Plan Evaluation Enhancements
A revised DVH window has been implemented to make plan evaluation easier, faster and provide additional tools such as Dose Volume Limits to drive the default optimization constraints and Biological Evaluation, which allows the user to evaluate plans based on biological index. For example: Evaluate the biological effects of the dose distribution on the target and organ at risks using Tumor Control Probability (TCP) and Normal Tissue Control Probability (NTCP) and measure the conformality index (CI) for targets.
General Planning Enhancements
Panther TPS 5.81 has improved the general planning workflow to make it faster and easier to use. Some of the improvements include separating wedge and open field MUs on the plan summary for motorized wedges, supporting imaging beams for DRR exports and the ability to add or remove specific tabs to help reduce un-necessary “clutter” in the Treatment Planning system.
Contouring and Imaging
As well as adding 4DCT image series support, a new automatic contouring feature (AI Contouring) has been added which is an improvement over our previously released Auto Segmentation. The new AI Contouring is more accurate, faster and includes additional volumes than the previously released Auto Segmentation feature.
